Sometimes I wonder if thrice-indicted (so far!) former President Donald Trump is going for the insanity defense. He is insane, after all, so why not take advantage of that?

However, most of the Republican party would have to be deemed insane, too, since they are very upset that David Weiss, a Trump-appointed Republican, was named as special counsel in the Hunter Biden probe. La sigh.

So, Trump took to his struggling Truth Social platform to deny that he picked Weiss even though he most certainly did.

"David Weiss was picked by the two Democrat Senators from Delaware under "Blue Slip." He would not have been picked by me," Lumpy insisted.

"But I have a great idea. Why don't they use Deranged Jack Smith. Weiss has been investigating Hunter for 4 years, giving him the "sweetheart" deal of all sweetheart deals," he added. "But a brilliant Judge in Delaware saw through it all. Now, I read, the Department of Injustice wants a new Judge and Jurisdiction. But so do I, with far stronger reasons than Hunter & Crooked Joe. MAGA!!!"

Speaking of Hunter Biden, who no one gives a single shit about, how did Jared Kushner and Vanky walk away with a $2 billion deal with the Saudis? Shouldn't there be a ban on doing business with a guy who cut up a journalist's body with a bone saw? I'm thinking that would be a good idea.

I hope -- and I don't even consider myself to be a journalist -- that if I'm dismembered that people don't rush to do business with my murderer. It could happen, though. I have a lot of trolls.
